Science & Technology Advisory CouncilXander Peterson is a member of The Hydrous's Science and Technology Advisory Committee, where he has helped build and continues to shape the organization's technology infrastructure. Professionally, he is a Senior Teaching Engineer at Coinbase, focused on AI-first learning enablement — designing learning technology (platforms and tools that make internal education and onboarding more effective) for teams across the company.
Having worked for seven years as a Teaching Engineer, including roles at Lyft and Okta, Xander brings a career built at the intersection of education and technology: he began as a K-12 teacher, transitioned into full-stack software engineering, and eventually specialized in teaching engineering. Xander holds dual undergraduate degrees from UCLA in Cognitive Science and Japanese.
